For the Port of Love har Roy Hersh følgende: "An exceptionally cold and wet winter was followed by a hot Summer and all seemed well at harvest. Medium dark magenta center with a pink edge. A spicy cinnamon note with raspberry scents and some alcohol protruding. Rich and harmonious with intricately woven fruit and structure. The mid-palate shows good depth and layers. Smooth and sexy on the mouth with lots of bright fruit left. The tannins still have the grip to take this for a decade possibly two. Drink now through 2025. 92 points" 92 Points (2007-11-29)
