Gould Campbell 1980 er en utrolig flot moden vintage portvin, der re klar til at drikke nu og de næste 15 år. Portvinen fremstår med lækker næse med toner af mørk frugt og tørret figner og dadler. Smagen er moden, med god kraft istemt en smule æble, som giver friskhed til smagen. Gould Campbell 1980 har mange år i sig endnu.

Vi har fået den direkte fra Symingtons kælder i Porto hvor portvinen har ligget trygt og godt.

Gould Campbell sælges både enkeltvis i trækasser (OWC) med 6 flasker i hver.

Anmeldelser For the Love of Port, Roy Herch Decanted by Taylor on Father's Day nine hours prior to tasting. It was harmonious in all respects at that time, but I poured two glasses (about 6-7 oz. back in the bottle for the next two nights of evaluation. Blueberry, boysenberry and mocha are seamlessly woven together as part of the intricate bouquet. Smooth and chewy, with youthful vibrancy and the only sign of aging is a slight bricking on the edge, but the core is dark garnet. Full and a pleasure to sip, slowly, this is really delicious and mostly primary. The secondary notes are likely destined to begin within the next 8-12 years, but even then, this has plenty of room and should improve for another 15+ years with ease. It was even better the second day, with greater length on the finish and the tannins were surprisingly more prominent as the fruit mellowed. On day 3 the only noticeable change was just a hint of heat on the finish, but otherwise, it showed how beautiful these bottles can be. I have had others that showed slightly better than this, but a fine 1980 GC nonetheless! 93 points 93 Points (2012-06-19)
